This has led to increased sales of e-commerce, mobile broadband, mobile banking services, and mobile television services, creating favorable business opportunities for investors.
The transition to 5G technology is ongoing, with the Turkish government allocating $5 billion for its development in 2019. Operators are partnering with providers like Nokia, Ericsson, and Huawei to invest in advanced networks. Istanbul, being a major hub, plays a crucial role in Turkey's telecommunications infrastructure, with significant investments in fiber optic solutions and cybersecurity measures to ensure robust connectivity and security.
