Monaco's mobile network has undergone significant development over the years, driven by the Government of Monaco and its collaboration with French mobile network operators and Monaco Telecom. The country's mobile network is set to become more harmonized, with all French mobile customers able to use the Monegasque network throughout the Principality starting from 5 March 2024. This initiative aims to ensure a consistent quality of service and coverage for all customers of foreign mobile networks.

Monaco Telecom, the primary operator, has a long history of innovation and expansion. It was created in 1997 following the privatization of the Principality's incumbent public telecommunications operator, the Office Monegasque des Téléphones.
