Belarus has a mobile network infrastructure that has undergone significant development over the years. As of 2019, there were 11,559,473 mobile/cellular subscribers in the country. The mobile network is managed by three GSM/UMTS operators: A1, MTS, and life:). These operators provide a range of services, including 4G data connectivity, with A1 offering VoLTE (Voice over LTE) service.

Historically, Belarus has been upgrading its telecommunications infrastructure. The country has made progress in modernizing its network, with roughly two-thirds of switching equipment now digital. The fixed-line teledensity has been improving, although rural areas continue to be underserved. Mobile-cellular teledensity has exceeded 100 telephones per 100 persons, indicating a high penetration rate of mobile services in the country.
