Telenor Denmark is one of the four major Danish mobile telephone operators, serving a customer base of over 1.4 million customers. It has been a subsidiary of the Norwegian mobile telephone company Telenor ASA since 12 February 2004. Prior to 15 June 2009, it was known as Sonofon, and it merged with Cybercity in 2006 to form an alliance. The two brands merged and were renamed Telenor on 15 June 2009.
Telenor Denmark operates as the second-largest mobile operator in Denmark, with a strong focus on customer-first innovation. It has recently completed the modernization of its nationwide 5G mobile network, enhancing its digital telecommunications infrastructure.
