MTS Ukraine, now rebranded as Vodafone Ukraine, is the second-largest mobile operator in Ukraine with a market share of 38% and approximately 23.1 million users. The company was originally known as Ukrainian Mobile Communications (UMC) and was founded on November 11, 1992. It was later acquired by Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) in 2003 and then rebranded as Vodafone Ukraine in 2016 following a strategic partnership with Vodafone.
