The GSM 900 MHz (P-GSM) frequency band operates in the range of 890 MHz to 960 MHz. This band is divided into two segments:

  1. Uplink (Mobile to Base): 890 MHz to 915 MHz
  2. Downlink (Base to Mobile): 935 MHz to 960 MHz

The band is further divided into 124 Absolute Radio Frequency Channel Numbers (ARFCNs) for the uplink and downlink, allowing for multiple channels within the band. This frequency band is primarily used in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Australia for GSM mobile networks.
