Tokelau, a dependent territory of New Zealand in the southern Pacific Ocean, has a limited but evolving mobile network. Historically, Tokelau did not have a mobile telecommunications service until recent developments. The community has long desired mobile telephony, but it was only in 2017 that Tokelau officially launched its 4G LTE mobile network, marking a significant milestone in its national development.

The Telecommunications Tokelau Corporation (Teletok) is the local and only telecommunications company, providing fixed and wireless services to the three atolls of Tokelau: Atafu, Nukunonu, and Fakaofo. Teletok is part of the Pacific Islands Telecommunications Association (PITA) and has been responsible for managing the country's telecommunications infrastructure.

In 2019, Tokelau agreed to connect to Southern Cross Cable's 60 Tbps NEXT subsea cable, which was completed in September 2021 and services were launched in July 2022. This connection has granted Tokelau access to a network of 400GbE telecommunications services to datacenters around the world.

Despite these advancements, mobile services are still limited, with about 20% of the population using mobile phones primarily for overseas telecommunications and other purposes such as cameras, entertainment, and GPS services. The country continues to strive for improved international connectivity and a cost-effective, reliable mobile network to enhance telecommunications and education services.
